Real estate mogul and TV personality, Donald Trump tweeted a while ago, saying that the global warming hypothesis was nonsense. In his tweet early last month, he scorned the hypothesis with this message on Twitter: “This very expensive GLOBAL WARMING bullshit has got to stop. Our planet is freezing, record low temps, and our GW scientist are stuck in Ice.”

This was immediately greeted with a retweet from Chris Mooney from “Mother Jones” before the blizzard hit Northeast last week, with the reply “Dear Donald Trump : Winter does not disprove global warming.” Strong blizzard actually hit Northeast America last week, which prompted Mayor Bill de Blasio to order that all subways and public transport be closed by 11.00 pm and had all New Yorkers stay indoors during the storm.
