Cristiano Ronaldo finally breaks his silence on recent split with Model, Irina Shayk, and said: “After dating for five years, my relationship with Irina Shayk has come to an end,” the 29-year-old soccer star said in a written statement according to ESPN. “We believed it would be best for both of us to take this step now.” He also added: “I wish Irina the greatest happiness.”
Based on the reports, it was said that Ronaldo was making the statement to end several speculations about the former couple’s five year relationship amid rumors that the model had a fall out with the Real Madrid player’s family.
