TMZ reports that Chris Brown is now in a tug of war over how much is adequate in child maintenance support since he stopped paying the miserly sum of $2,500 per month for their 11-month-old daughter, Royalty which he had with Nia Guzman.
According to TMZ however, the singer decided to cut off the cash supply after Texas-based former model Nia requested that the payments be increased to $15,000 a month, which is 6 times more than what was initially being paid in child support.
Also, Nia will be seeking legal recourse if Chris Brown does not accede to her demands and her attorney Carl Moore said that his client will be filling court papers in a matter of a few weeks.
His out of wedlock baby is the main cause of his split with ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran. Their relationship is still marred by this episode and Chris Brown has made several attempt to woo back Karrueche but all efforts have been futile.
