WEDDING HIGHLIGHT
If you have never seen the movie coming to America starring Eddie Murphy, then this is a wedding that clearly depicts a different narrative tale of ‘Coming to America’. It all began 3 months after the bride Chichi arrived in America in the year 2000 where she met the one that stole her heart away at a party in New Jersey which happened to be her 1st outing in the states (They were destined to meet you will say) after so much persuasion to attend the party she later Obliged; willing to braze the cold weather and attend the party thanks to her Late Mum who encouraged her to at least see how parties are held in the States.
Being a lady Chichi sat in her corner watching others and nibbling on her food while this young man spotted her; not just walked to her but sat next to her and said “you smell so good” and she said thanks in a shy tone, he prompted by asking to know the perfume she had on which was White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor. A formal introduction followed that night by her uncle Ikenna Egesionu and the journey began with a few weeks later which resulted in marriage proposal 3 months after meeting each other in 2000.
In 2001 God blessed them with their 1st child Chuka, 2002 ushered in their 2nd son OD and 3rd son Eche in 2005; like every marriage they had their ups and downs but God kept them together in Love and Unity despite all odds!
