Buckingham Palace has “emphatically” denied allegations that the Duke of York, Prince Andrew had sex with a teenager. This represents the second time the royal house will be issuing a statement to refute claims by a Florida woman who says she was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew when she was still a teenager.
Prince Andrew was named in a court papers relating to Jeffrey Epstein, a prominent banker in Florida. The woman identified as Virginia Roberts alleged that Epstein had loaned her to powerful and wealthy men for sex when she was a teenager.
According to Time, a spokesman of the royal house said in a statement: “This relates to long-running and ongoing civil proceedings in the United States to which the Duke of York is not a party. As such we would not comment in detail,” …. “However, for the avoidance of doubt, any suggestion of impropriety with underage minors is categorically untrue.”
Prince Andrew was a magnate to many news coverage around the world during his heydays as a young man in the 70s even before the late Princess Diana came into the scene who later eclipsed him. His many escapades that could mirror Prince Harry today earned him the moniker ‘Randy Andy’ back then.
