This week is all about the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards which is often seen as an Oscar predictor. The award ceremony held a few days ago at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center and featured several glamorous looks on the red carpet. (Click here if you missed the RED CARPET appearances!)
As expected, anywhere Hollywood celebs are gathered, there will always be lots of glam, glitz, great looks, not-so-great ones, and complete make-over looks. One of such, was Zach Galifianakis noticeable weight loss, which was further highlighted with the comedian appearing without his signature bushy beard. We first caught a glimpse of his ‘transformation’ during the opening of the awards, when a camera approached the 45-year-old, and he joked with his trademark dry humor: “I’m Zach Galifianakis…I’m an actor.”
Zach and the rest of the high-profile cast of “Birdman”, including Michael Keaton, Emma Stone, Naomi Watts Edward Norton, were nominated for “Outstanding Performance By A Cast In A Motion Picture” and they all seemed overjoyed when they ‘grabbed’ the award.
Galifianakis, who first became world-wide known for his role in “Hangover”, ‘debuted’ his slimmer looks back in October, 2014 at the New York Film Festival. When asked about it, he said in a joke to E! News that “he was actually dying...”
