Bill Cosby’s wife is probably one of the most ‘faithful’ wives out there, who continues to support her husband amid the mounting number of sexual assault cases being raised against him. Recent media reports disclosed that she is aware of her husband’s cheating spree, but believes the women he’s accused of giving drugs to before sleeping with actually consented to take the pills.
According to MailOnline, Camille Cosby, 71, made her stance known in a war room with PR reps and attorneys which she and Cosby, 78, held at their Massachusetts home Tuesday night, the New York Post reports.
‘Camille still doesn’t believe that Bill provided drugs and had sex with women without their consent…She’s well aware of his cheating, but she doesn’t believe that her husband is a rapist,’ a source told the Post
‘I created him, I knew what I was getting and we’ll fix this,’ said Camille, who is also her husband’s business manager.
The sexual assault allegations against Cosby had already severely damaged his career even before The Associated Press revealed that he had previously admitted under oath in 2005 to obtaining quaaludes with the intent of giving them to young women he wanted to have sex with. But now, even some of Cosby’s previous supporters are walking away! Last week, singer Jill Scott, one of Cosby’s highest profile and die-hard supporters announced she no longer stood behind the entertainer she once regarded as her role model.
