Ellen DeGeneres was previously named the most powerful queer person in America, but has now been dethroned by Apple CEO, Tim Cook, according to OUT magazine.
Cook made it to the #1 spot, while DeGeneres was at #2. The list which was released on April 15 by Out Magazine contains a mix of TV personalities, activists, politicians and businesspeople, and looks at “which LGBT voices have power, how they wield it, and who it affects.”
CNN’s Anderson Cooper made it to the 5th position, while “Orange is the New Black” star Laverne Cox, came out at #9.
