It is definitely very high tech, innovative and at the forefront of technology, but it is not a device. It is not even a product.
The ‘Mother of All Products ‘ is actually a piece of real estate. It is the new Apple corporate campus called ‘Apple Campus 2’ and will be a hub to unite all its technological and artistic capabilities under one roof, as explained by Tim Cook to Fortune recently.
The Cupertino campus:
“I hate the word ‘headquarters. It isn’t overhead, and we’re not bureaucrats,” says Cook — brings cutting-edge technology to even the most basic tasks. Parking, for example, will be facilitated by sensors and apps so employees don’t have to waste time or gas finding a spot.
The new Apple campus is expected to be completed by 2016 and was the brainchild of founder Steve Job, and had spent much of his last two years directly involved in the planning for the campus’ construction.
