The Harry Potter famed actress, Emma Watson was at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland last month to launch a United Nation (UN) pilot project called “HeForShe IMPACT 10X10X10X “. The UN initiated project which will run for one year is aimed at creating gender equality and women empowerment within the governments, companies and universities worldwide. The actress is currently the UN ambassador for Women Global Goodwill and has undertaken many of the gender equality initiatives with this global organization.
Watson launched the project in conjunction with many world leaders such as UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven.
