Charles Barkley doe not hold back when it comes to speaking out his opinion, and this time, he is back on the King James subject. When asked about the Golden State Warriors’ 4-2 series win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals, Sir Charles responded as only he could—by taking a jab at LeBron James and his new movie, Trainwreck.
Here’s what Barkley told CSN Bay Area’s Jim Kozimor:
LeBron flat-out ran out of gas. But you put two more All-Stars on that team, the Warriors still might have won, but I would have picked the Cavs if everyone was healthy. …
LeBron should call this Trainwreck 2 because the Finals was Trainwreck 1.
James did all he could, averaging 35.8 points, 13.3 rebounds and 8.8 assists on a seriously undermanned team. Calling the series Trainwreck 1 might be a bit harsh. It felt more like LBJ was playing with a bunch of Looney Tunes against the Monstars.
