Although the rumor that D’banj and South African TV personality, Bonang Matheba were dating has been out there for awhile, it seems like the couple have decided to announce their relationship to the world, after the display of affection shown at the recently concluded 2015 MTV Africa Music Awards.
First, the couple walked the red carpet together hand-in-hand, holding each other every now and then, later, they shared several PDAs, and ultimately, the passionate kiss planted on D’banj’s lips by the media personality and Revlon ambassador as he stood up to receive his MAMA 2015 Evolution award, which he surprisingly dedicated to Nigeria’s leading producer, (click here if you missed it) and Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, saying:
‘I specially dedicate this award to my brother and former partner, Don Jazzy who told me he wanted me to become the youngest African living legend, God Bless you.’
The couple who are both CIROC Ambassadors, were recently in Mauritius for a Ciroc-sponsored vacation, where they both stepped out in white, looking very much like a hot couple at the time! Click here if you missed it!
