In a latest communique issued by the office of Chief of Army General Kenneth Minimah, 11 soldiers were confirmed dead and an undetermined number of others were injured. The fate of the 18 female soldiers kidnapped are still unknown and efforts are being undertaken by the army operations to locate and rescue them.
