The world’s acclaimed oldest woman, Susannah Mushatt Jones, celebrated her birthday on Monday, July 6, 2015. She was born on July 6, 1899, in Lowndes County, Alabama.
CNN reported that she has lived through 20 U.S. presidents, two world wars and the birth of the automobile, the airplane, TV and the Internet, which makes me wonder how she felt when she flew for the first time?
Anyway, Guinness World Records officially recognized Jones as the oldest recorded person on the planet last month after 116-year-old Jeralean Talley died in suburban Detroit.
Her long age was attributed to sleep, clean living and positive energy! There’s a lesson for everyone there on choices for healthy living….
