Again, a terrible first three quarters for Steph Curry! This has been one of the worst three quarters for a reigning MVP in any NBA finals in history; For a second option guard in cleveland, Matthew Dellavedova who has rightfully earned his respect in the NBA league, and a star in the making, to be able to put Curry out of his normal MVP rhythm every time he was guarding him in 2 consecutive finals game, that is simple an outstanding defense for the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player.
It’s however not fair for a well-respected analyst like Charles Barkley to fail to admit that it’s Dellavedova’s defense that is keeping Curry in his MVP mode, but rather he suggested that the MVP was just having a bad night in a recent analysis. (Click HERE if you missed it)! The question for Barkley now is, how many more times will Dellavedova have to defend Curry in a manner that is not effective so that he can start crediting his defense?
Besides that, during the press conference, it was obvious that Steph Curry had little respect for LeBron James’ impressive game in the NBA Final games 3, where he scored 40 points. Instead of acknowledging the fact that it was just an outstanding performance, he said and this is being paraphrased – LeBron James scoring 40 points is not that impressive because he made too many attempts and his low percentage is not our normal standard.
Well the message for Steph Curry is that – it does not matter how many attempts the Cavs make, at the end of the day, they came up with a “W”!
