Academy award winning actress Nicole Kidman was born in Honolulu, but grew up in Sydney, Australia, and spent most of her professional acting career in the United States. The A-list actress has now returned to her home country in a new psychic-thriller film called ‘Strangerland‘ filmed entirely in the Australian Outback, according to Star2.
The movie centered on a couple in which Kidman, the former wife of another A-list Hollywood actor, Tom Cruise, played Catherine Parker and actor Joseph Fiennes played her husband Matthew Parker. The couple had to grapple with rising tensions after their two children vanished following a dust storm in the Australian Outback.
Actor Hugo Weaving starred as the small town detective and other cast members are Lisa Flanagan, Meyne Wyatt, Maddison Brown and Nicholas Hamilton.
The movie producer ‘Alchemy,‘ previously known as Millennium Entertainment, unveiled the official trailer recently and said that the film will make its first debut at national cinemas in July this year.
