Amata had a previous interview which was aired on CNN Africa during which he discussed with Isha Sesay a major goal of producing the movie which was aimed at showcasing to the viewers the experiences the Niger-Delta region of Nigeria went through over the last few decades.
“We want the world to stand with us,” he says. “We are not trying to fight the government, trying to fight the oil companies, no — we are trying to repair what has been damaged,” says Amata. “We can change the Niger Delta of Nigeria.”
