US Law Enforcement Boosts Security Amid July 4th Celebrations | 7,000 Officers Reportedly Assigned to Potential Target Areas!
Owing to the several attacks of terrorist groups in different countries, the US government has increased security in all parts of the nation as the country celebrates July 4th Independence Day, according to VOA News. According to Mail Online as well, over 7,000 police officers are expected to flood the streets of New York City during the July 4 celebrations in a bid to ramp up security across the country amid concerns ISIS sympathizers may try and target the event.
The different terrorists groups, ranging from Al Qaeda to ISIS, Boko Haram and Al Shabaab have attacked different nations over the past couple of months, and coupled with fears of attack by homegrown ISIS extremists, the US law enforcement had to step up security during this celebration period in the United States
