Taylor Swift is undoubtedly one of the most successful stars in 2014, but this time around, she was not on the spotlight when she attended “The River”, the Broadway show starring Hugh Jackman.
The “Blank Space” singer also took her family with her on the daytime show on Christmas Eve, as New York Daily News reports. The family enjoyed the performance of the X-Men star and the rest of the cast and Jackman also shared a snap with the Pennsylvanian singer from backstage on Instagram, captioning: “Lovely to see Taylor Swift and her family. Merry Christmas Eve to all xoxx.”
Furthermore, Swift also reportedly took part in a charity auction for the shirt that Jackman was wearing during the play, “outbidding” everyone and offering $6,000 for it. Taylor, who just turned 25, was also joined by Hugh Jackman in this donation, matching her offer and giving an extra $6,000 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The charming Australian actor has always been a big supporter of the aforementioned charity corporation having raised almost $1 million in total to date.
