Stephen Omaidu, a suspected bank hacker was arraigned before an Abuja High Court on a two-count charge for the theft of N68.028 billion by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday.
According to the Vanguard report, Omaidu, and his alleged accomplices Alhaji K. B. Kabiru, Godswill Oyegwa, Ben and Oliver reportedly hacked into the account of a second-generation bank, and subsequently transferred the sum of N68.028 billion into different personal accounts.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the charges, and the court will soon be fixing a date for the trial.
