Suicide Bomber Kills Five Church Worshipers, Including Pastor at Redeemed Christian Church of God in Yobe, Nigeria!
Over the past couple of years, Nigeria has been facing acts of violence from terrorist group, Boko Haram. In a recent report, a male suicide bomber attacked a Redeemed Christian Church of God parish in Jigawa area of Potiskum Town, Yobe State, Nigeria on Sunday, 5th July.
At about 10 a.m., the bomber entered the on-going service and detonated the bomb killing six people, including a pastor, a woman, her two children and the bomber.
The police Public Relations Officer in Yobe, Toyin Gbadegesin told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that a female member of the church who sustained injuries also died while receiving treatment in the hospital.

The explosion inside the Redeemed Church represents the first time the insurgent Islamist group has targeted a church for bombing since President Muhammadu Buhari took over power on May 29, 2015!
