Death Row Records mogul Suge Knight is set to gain from tonight’s 2nd May fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, which will be starting at 8.00p.m. (local time) at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.
Matthew Fletcher, who is Suge Knight’s lawyer revealed that Mayweather will post the $10 million bail if he wins tonight match against Pacquiao as they are both very good friends, as reported by Los Angeles Times.
“They’re good friends,” Fletcher said. “That’s one of his wealthiest friends.”
Los Angeles Times also stated that Matthew had revealed that a lawyer from Mayweather reached out to him a few weeks ago asking for specifics of the bailout for his client.
Suge Knight’s bail remains at $10 million and the judge has remained adamant in his refusal to halve the amount to $5 as pleaded by his lawyer, and reported by Dailymail,UK.
“Suge said, ‘Man, I was really going to pull for him to win, but now I’m going to have to pray for him to win,’” his lawyer said.
Mayweather is already one of the richest sportsmen on this planet and said to worth $420 million, according to Dailymail, UK. If he wins the fight against Pacquiao, his net worth is going to soar higher and helping a friend with $10 million bail will be nothing to him.
