Sean “Diddy” Combs Won’t be Facing Felony Charges for Alleged Attack Against Son’s UCLA Football Coach!
A few days ago, we reported that Diddy got into a fight at his son’s UCLA football practice when he allegedly attacked his son Justin’s UCLA football coach while visiting him on campus. Click here if you missed it!
E! News reports that sources have confirmed to NBC News that the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has rejected the case and will not be pressing charges against Sean “Diddy” Combs in connection with his June 22 arrest.
The hip-hop mogul was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and released on bail. With the D.A. opting to pass, Combs is in the clear with regard to being charged with a felony, but the L.A. City Attorney’s Office can now decide whether to file misdemeanor charges against him or not.
Combs however maintained through his rep that he was acting in self-defense during his altercation with strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi.
Diddy also got lots of public support from his son, who plays football for UCLA.
“Thanks for always being there for me,” Justin wrote on Instagram a day after his dad’s arrest, while Diddy posted the same father-son pic with the hashtag “#FamilyFirst.”
