North Korea who has denied being behind the messy Sony Hack recently called the United States President Barack Obama “a monkey” and blamed the country on Saturday for shutting down its Internet based on the feud over the comedy “The Interview.”
On Saturday, the North’s powerful National Defense Commission, the country’s top governing body led by Kim Jong Un, said that Obama was behind the release of “The Interview.” The movie was also described illegal and dishonest, AP reports.
“Obama always goes reckless in words and deeds like a monkey in a tropical forest,” an unidentified spokesman said in a statement made to the official Korean Central News Agency.
Washington has also been accussed for the intermittent outages of North Korea’s websites this week, which happened shortly after the U.S. had promised to respond to the Sony hack. However, the U.S. government has not commented regarding whether the country was indeed behind North Korea’s Internet shutdown.
