Lots of positive things are taking place in the Nigerian film industry the new ‘Eldorado’ for business investment in the country right now. Several seasoned film makers are coming home to contribute their quota to making the industry the global giant it should be. One of such persons is Nigerian-Canadian, Director/Producer Mr Pascal Atuma who has relocated to the country to add his bit. Though he is currently promoting, ‘Blood Lines’, a film he co-produced and directed, yesterday he took time out to hold a meeting with General Managers of Ozone Cinemas, Filmhouse Cinemas, SilverBird Cinemas and Genesis Deluxe Cinemas in a bid to to discuss ways the industry Nollywood, can be re-positioned to take its place as a leader in the global market.
Present at the Business lunch/mixer which was held in Victoria Island, were General Managers of all the major cinema houses in Lagos namely Mr Frankie Lancy (GM -SilverBird Cinemas) , Mr Opeyemi Ajayi (GM – Genesis Deluxe Cinemas) , Mr Patrick Lee (GM – Ozone Cinemas) , Mr Moses Babatope (Group Executive Director/COO- Filmone Distribution/Filmhouse) Mr Ekene Nwaokolo (Head of Legal – SilverBird Group) .
