HOUSTON – The Fall of Signature Essence (FOSE) is proud to announce that Mrs. ChiChi Dike-Emeson, Founder & CEO of the Miss Nigeria in America Foundation (MNIA), will be the official host of FOSE’s African Fashion Week Showcase finale in Houston on Saturday, August 22nd.
According to FOSE founder and African Fashion Week-Houston Executive Producer, Mr.Nkem Oji-Alala,”(ChiChi’s) dynamic personality and energetic professionalism makes her the perfect choice.” As the original host of the first-ever FOSE African Fashion Week-Houston, Mr. Oji-Alala said, “Her unique expertise and engaging charisma sets the right tone and connects with the audience. ChiChi Dike-Emeson is currently serving as the Executive Producer of the Miss Nigeria in America Pageant (to be held in Atlanta on Saturday, July 11th at 7:00PM – Ferests Center for the Arts, 349 Ferst Dr., Atlanta, GA 30332). In the addition to her work with the MNIA foundation, Mrs.Dike-Emeson continues to dedicate her life to fighting for justice for women, creating awareness on health issues and fighting for peace and quality of life in Nigeria.
The purpose of the Miss Nigeria in America Foundation is to educate and empower women of Nigerian descent on advocating for justice, becoming role models for younger women and children, and taking a stand in society to ensure the betterment for women. ChiChi is personally committed to helping women overcome battles such as self-esteem issues, realizing their potentials, and taking charge of their lives.
As a graduate of Howard University and Strayer University, Dike-Emeson has worked in the non-profit sector for over ten years, and continues to represent various charitable and philanthropic initiatives in her professional life. She is proud wife of Mr. Kenny Emeson and even prouder mother to their son Kenny Jr. (KJ).
