The Marty McFly version of self-lacing sneaker that was inspired from the 1989 (2nd series) science fiction movie “Back To The Future 2“, where the characters traveled to the future year 2015 will be released this year according to TIME magazine.
The selling of the movie-inspired designed shoes is to commemorate the two science fiction movies that captured the imaginations of the sci-fic fans in the 80s and 90s. This year also marks the 30 anniversary of the original “Back To The Future 1” movie in 1985, starring Micheal J Fox. The actor is now stricken with Parkinson disease and has been afflicted with this debilitating disease for many years.
According to reports, the Marty McFly shoe will be an upgraded version of the 2011 Nike MAG that was a limited-edition replica of McFly’s sneakers. Also, the new footwear will have “power laces,” in which motorized rollers in the shoe’s sole will sense weight and tighten up the laces when someone steps into the shoes, according to Nike’s patent.
