The American Red Nose Day is aimed at raising money for children and young people living in poverty and several celebs were spotted donning a red clown nose to increase publicity about the live telethon to raise money for charity.
Several stars including Kim Kardashian, Heidi Klum, One Direction, Mohammad Ali, and other celebs publicly wore their red-noses, and this year, two of our own prominent Nigerian celebrities currently in the United States, D’Banj and Stella Damasus, also joined the cause by sharing pictures of themselves on social media, rocking the red clown noses during the live telethon that was aired on NBC yesterday night.
Red Nose Day began in the United Kingdom over 30 years ago in 1988 as a way for Comic Relief UK to raise funds to help fight poverty and social injustice for kids and young people. This year, the United States joined the Red Nose Day action for the first time!
