Miley Cyrus’s posh ranch-like home in California was burglarized last year and the thief took an unspecified amount of the singer and her brother’s belongings. The burglar, Rusty Edward Sellner was eventually caught and placed in custody, TMZ reports.
The Los Angeles Superior Court judge, Alan Schneider took credit that Rusty has already served 270 days in prison and sentenced him to two years behind bars. The judge ordered another hearing to determine how many remaining days he will have to serve out his remaining term.
According to Mirror.UK, the singer has been a target for thieves, as she was burgled on May 30 last year when robbers sped off in her Maseratie Quattroporte along with a stash of her jewelry. The pop star was also robbed the day before turning 21.
