Miley Cyrus, who in the past called Donald Trump “a f—ing nightmare,” took to social media once again to criticize the Republican presidential candidate – this time for being “sexist.”
“Trump can’t stop won’t stop saying stupid ass sexist shit!!!! Comparing two women! Are you f—ing kidding!” Cyrus wrote, referring to Trump’s recent retweet of a photo comparing Ted Cruz’s wife to his own.
“We will not allow you to destroy everything we have overcome as women!” Cyrus said. “I feel as though we are stronger than ever as a unit. We have an understanding and respect for one another (more than trump can say about anyone, his fellow candidates, other races and religions , other public figures , just HUMAN BEINGS in general, and of course animals! Check out his family hunting photos!!!!) it’s absolute insanity that this has gone on this long and far! Wake me up from this nightmare someone PLEASE!”
Trump, on the other hand quickly took to Twitter to defend his “respect for women” early Saturday morning (March 26).
“The media is so after me on women Wow, this is a tough business. Nobody has more respect for women than Donald Trump!” Trump tweeted.
“The press is going out of their way to convince people that I do not like or respect women, when they know that it is just the opposite!” he continued.
He then retweeted followers mentioning women’s groups who support Trump and a statement that his execs are “predominantly female.”
