NBA Star, LeBron James who left Miami Heat last season to join the Cleveland Cavaliers returned to Miami for the very first time since he left to play on the same court with his former teammates. When reporters asked James before the Cavaliers-Heat game how he felt, he said he had butterflies coming into the building. And not surprisingly, everyone was looking forward to see the mixed reactions he was going to receive from his former teammates and the fan reactions as well.
Although the Heat fans initially booed James when he got on court but he later received a standing ovation when the Heat played a one-minute video tribute for James during the 1st quarter, and showed various clips to commemorate James’s four NBA Finals runs and the two titles he won while in Miami.
It was also nice seeing Dwayne Wade give a pretty welcoming hug to James before the face-off as he got on the court, which didn’t really take us by surprise considering that both of them have stayed as friends even when they were no longer teammates.
