The suspect who was involved in an alleged road rage incident that led to the death of a Las Vegas mother-of-four, Tammy Meyers (click here if you missed it), was apprehended by police on Thursday, and to everyone’s surprise, the victim’s husband told reporters his family knew the suspect and had previously attempted to help him, CNN reports. Robert Meyers told reporters after the arrest that he and his family knew Nowsch and had spent “countless” hours trying to help him. “He knew where we lived,” he said. “We knew how bad he was.”
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrested Erich Nowsch, 19, at a house that was only a block away from where late Tammy Meyers lived with her family. Although, Nowsch is believed to be the only shooting suspect involved in this case, police however said they are still looking for another person that may be involved.
According to reports, Nowsch shot Tammy Meyers, a 44-year-old mother in front of her house, after she returned home from a driving session to teach her 14-year-old daughter how to drive and a previous verbal confrontation with the suspect.
