Having been very active on social media in the past week, calling out Taylor Swift, defending his new clothing collection and his father-in-law Caitlyn Jenner, Kanye West still had more to dish out on Saturday as he went on with his ranting and made the shocking claim that he is in a staggering $53 million in debt. The 38-year-old father of two tweeted away in the minutes leading up to his Saturday Night Live appearance when he said:
‘I write this to you my brothers while still 53 million dollars in personal debt… Please pray we overcome… This is my true heart…’
This will not be the first time Kanye will talk about how his debts.
Last year he disclosed he incurred $16 million in debt while trying to get his Yeezy clothing line off the ground.
‘I was trying to play a sport that’s a billionaire sport. It’s not a millionaire sport and I’m proud of the debt. I don’t care about somebody’s Ghost (Phantom) or somebody’s house. I care about my vision’ he told BET.
While he tweeted, he took out to respond to various memes on the web which poked fun at his album name The Life of Pablo
‘All memes are wrong… The Life of Paul… The life of Pablo… Ultralight beams… Moms dads daughters sons stand up…’
Kanye explained that his new album is not named after Pablo Picasso or Pablo Escobar, but rather Paul the Apostle. He then proceeded to drop some knowledge on his followers about who Paul was.
