ISIS Beheads Two Women in Syria Accused of ‘Witchcraft And Sorcery’ in 1st Known Decapitation of Female Civilians!
ISIS, the Islamist sect known for murdering more than 3,000 people in Syria, reportedly beheaded two women after accusing them of “witchcraft and sorcery”. In what’s being grimly reported as the first known live decapitations of female civilians by ISIS, the Islamic State executed both accused women on Sunday and Monday.
The Syrian human rights group also confirmed that this is the first time the ISIS has executed civilian women in such a ghastly manner. The group had previously stoned civilian women to death for reasons such as adultery, but the beheading of civilian women and the accusation of women for witchcraft is the first of its kind.
The women were publicly executed alongside their husbands, who were also accused of the same crime, in Deir Ezzor province on claims of “witchcraft and sorcery,” the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights told the Agence France Presse Tuesday.
