Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani teenage girl who is internationally known as an activist for women education and inspired the world after recovering from a Taliban attack at the young age of 14, accepted the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo, Norway, a few days ago. Yousafzai, now 17, is currently the youngest-ever Nobel Prize laureate. She gave a heartening acceptance speech as she received the prestigious prize, while also discussing some present day issues. “Neither their ideas nor their bullets could win. We survived. And since that day, our voices have grown louder and louder”, she said. To even make her acceptance speech more touching, Malala dedicated the award to all the “forgotten children who want education”.
