FBI agents in Indiana are seeking an affidavit given to an attorney detailing alleged texts between ex-Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle and a former Subway female franchisee where the former pitchman boasts about paying to have sex with 16-year-old girl and seeking more hook-ups on Craigslist.
The texts may play a part in the FBI’s look at Fogle who is under investigation for child pornography allegations that cost him his job with the sandwich franchiser.
According to Business Insider — which has reviewed the transcripts of the phone messages and text messages and verified they came from Fogle’s phone — Fogle urged the franchisee to advertise herself on Craigslist to have sex with other men while he watched, saying she could make up to $500 per act.
In texts between Fogle and the woman — who was allegedly in a sexual relationship with the sandwich spokesman — the two discussed using Craigslist, with the woman mentioning a previous hook-up Fogle boasted about in a previous conversation.
“Is this the same website you found that 16 year old you said that you f*cked?” the woman said. “I still can’t believe you only paid $100 for her.”
Fogle wrote back: “It was amazing!!!!”
“What part of her ad made you think she was selling sex?” the woman asked.
Fogle told her: “U will have to read them to see.”
The age of consent in Indiana is 16. The woman grew uncomfortable with Fogle’s demands and turned her phone over to her attorney who had the conversations — including voice-mails — transcribed.
According to messages on the phone, Fogle also pressed the woman to encourage her cousin — who was reportedly underage — to join the two of them in a threesome, asking her, “How young would you like?… Would you want to have an adventure like that?”
