In the past few months, Chris Brown has not held back in showing a public display of affection towards his daughter Royalty, especially on social media, but on the contrary, he seems to be fed up with his baby mama.
As we previously reported, Brown and Royalty’s mother, Nia Guzman, have been fighting over child support and custody of their daughter, after Guzman asked for $15,000 a month in child support. Click here if you missed it!
TMZ has now reported that the 26-year-old recording artist has filed legal documents in Houston to establish paternity, and now, he wants to be able to establish a clear custody agreement.
As E! News previously reported, Nia and Royalty are based in Houston, TX, and in April, a source confirmed that the recording artist sees his daughter “all the time.”
“He wants Nia and the baby to move to California to be closer to him. Nia is open to it,” the source said, adding that “there’s no formal visitation schedule in place.”
The insider also said that Brown and Guzman have no interest in coupling up, but were “on good terms” at the time.“Neither Chris nor Nia is interested in a romantic relationship, which makes things easier. He can do what he wants, she can do what she wants—there’s no stress about that.”
“I honestly never knew I could love someone as strong as I do,” Brown captioned an Instagram in May of his daughter peacefully sleeping. “I’m gonna give her the world.”
