We shared with you yesterday that the former head of the Kardashian/Jenner clan is going to be featured on the cover of the Summer edition of Vanity Fair (click here if you missed it), but we didn’t know it was this close as Bruce Jenner was formally introduced as a woman ‘Caitlyn Jenner,’ wearing a Corseted Bodysuit on the July cover of Vanity Fair Magazine!
Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz (the woman behind Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Vogue cover) shot the first portraits of Caitlyn, which were recently taken in her Malibu home.
“If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life,'” Jenner, 65, tells the magazine.
In a behind the scenes video from the shoot, Caitlyn says she is finally free:
“I was probably at the Games because I was running away from a lot of things. Very, very proud of the accomplishment, I don’t want to diminish that accomplishment. The last few days of doing this shoot was about my life and who I am as a person. It’s not about the fanfare, it’s not about people cheering in the stadium, it’s not about going down the street and everybody giving me a, ‘That a boy Bruce’ pat on the back. This is about your life. Bruce always had to tell a lie. He was always living that lie, every day he always had a secret from morning ’til night. Caitlyn doesn’t have any secrets. Soon as the Vanity Fair cover comes out, I’m free.”
