Airport cleaner, Josephine Agwu who became widely known across the country after returning the total sum of N12 million found at the airport, despite the fact that she earns less than N,8,000, was previously reported by several media houses to have received N12 million from TREM Church during the Easter Sunday service when she was hosted by the general overseer of the church, Dr Mike Okonkwo.
The honest worker has since debunked rumors about the N12 million cash gift, stating she got a cash reward and prayers, but not the amount reported by the media. She however refused to say how much money was given to her by the church, other than saying that of all that she received, the prayers were the most valued and appreciated.
“I was at TREM for the Easter service but it is not true they gave me N12 million. I got a call from TREM asking me to come for their service. It is a lie that I was given N12m. I did not even see the report” she told Encomium magazine.
“Prayer matters most. That is the most important thing to me. Any other thing might follow. That prayer is the most important,” she said.
