According to Channels TV, President Goodluck Jonathan and the APC presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari signed another Peace Accord in Abuja today, following the peace pact they both signed alongside other presidential candidates in January. They were accompanied to the meeting by the national chairmen of both parties.
Both candidates repotedly signed the peace ccord during a peace meeting arranged by the National Peace Committee for the 2015 General Elections, led by Abdusalam Abubakar.
Reports stated that the goal of the meeting was “extracting commitment from the leading candidates that the forthcoming elections will be violence-free.”
