The Golden State Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 6 to win the 2015 NBA Finals, the team’s first since 1975. A 105-97 victory over the Cavaliers in Game 6 of the NBA Finals Tuesday night at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland ended the best season in franchise history and gave the Warriors their first title since 1975, according to New York Times and NBC News.
Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala led the Warriors in scoring, each finishing with 25 points. LeBron James, without his high energy for most of the night, led the Cavaliers with 32 points, 18 rebounds and nine assists. James, however, was not enough for a Warriors team that came in different waves with a ferocious attitude towards winning.
Congratulations to the Golden State Warriors and their fans!
