The family of Late Chief Joe Ogebor hosted an event in Houston, Texas to celebrate the life of their husband and father, to honor and share the exemplary legacy he passed on. Several people shared candid memories about how he made a difference in the lives of so many. They testified that he was a great man, a man of Integrity, a very meticulous and organized man, a man with so much wisdom that loved his wife and family above all, a man that gave inorder to improve the lives of others. The event was hosted by ‘MCPC‘ who held a smile while cracking up the audience and reiterated that the event was not to mourn, but to celebrate the life of Chief Joe Ogbebor. The event also featured one of Houston’s finest and most talented gospel artist Stacy Egbo.
HIGHLIGHTS
The late Mr. Joe O. Ogbebor was born on December 7th 1950 to the late Mr. Omwanghe Ogbebor and Mrs. Imade Ogbebor. He was the last of three children. Joe had an entrepreneurial spirit from earlier on in his life. He often assisted his mother with trading at local markets.
He also took the initiative earlier on in his life to get an education. He traveled to Lagos as a teen to further his education where he also met his future wife Eunice Ogbebor. They married in 1977 and were blessed with four children. Joe decided to further his education in the United States in 1981, leaving behind his family and a very prestigious job as the foreign exchange manager at a prestigious bank. He secured a Master Degree in Business Administration at Texas Southern University in 1988. His wife and children joined him soon after. Joe Ogbebor and his wife Eunice Ogbebor went on to start and head several successful businesses in Houston, TX, Dallas, TX, Orlando, Florida and beyond. Mr. Joe Ogbebor was a devout Christian and attended Lakewood Church with his family where he headed a Prayer partner group.
Mr. Joe Ogbebor was called home to Eternal rest with our Lord and Savior on October 11th 2007. He is survived by his wife Eunice and four children, Christian, Godwin, Mike, and Joyce. May his soul continue to rest in perfect peace with Almighty God.
