Bobbi Kristina’s Family Upset with Dr. Phil for giving Nick Gordon a Public Platform amid ‘Strong Evidence Of Foul Play’
A few days ago, Nick Gordon and his mother made an appearance on Dr. Phil Show (which airs March 11th) to talk about his girlfriend Bobbi Kristina, which was meant to be an intervention staged by Nick’s mom according to TMZ. Shortly after, Leolah Brown took to Facebook to express her family’s displeasure with Dr. Phil for giving Nick a public platform.
Read the message written by Aunt Leolah below:
With all due respect,
Nick Gordon is under investigation for the attempted murder of my niece Bobby Kristina Brown.
We have strong evidence of foul play. Until this investigation is completed by law enforcement, I would ask that you or anyone else not provide this individual a platform to spin this situation to his benefit.
If Nick Gordon does not have the courage to speak with my brother Bobby Brown and/or law enforcement about what happened the day my niece’s body was found in a bathtub, he does not deserve to have a platform to speak to anyone of your caliber until this investigation is concluded.
An earlier report published by TMZ after Nick and his mom reportedly met with Dr. Phil indicated that Gordon was so messed up on drugs during the planned interview and actually became violent. Read the TMZ report below:
“Nick Gordon was so whacked out on drugs and alcohol before his “interview” with Dr. Phil, he couldn’t even walk and was pushed around on a luggage cart.
Our sources say Nick was staying at an Atlanta hotel for what he believed was an interview with Phil … when in fact it was an intervention staged by Nick’s mom. We’re told Nick’s lawyer would not allow him to talk about anything connected with the events that led up to Bobbi Kristina’s tragedy.
Nick’s mom did a lot of the talking, and told Phil her son was deep into booze and Xanax. Nick was so messed up he could barely form sentences.
When Nick realized this was an intervention to get him into rehab, he went nuts. We’re told on his way out of the interview he punched 2 members of Dr. Phil’s staff.
In the end, we’re told Nick checked in to the rehab facility.
